How To Use Blogs To Make Money

By Saleem Rana

It is possible to earn money for blogging without spending any cash on marketing, advertising, or promotions. Your only expense will be the cost of registering your domain name and paying for your hosting account. We're talking about $20 to get started here.

Your first aim before you begin to monetize your blog is to add value to your blog. This means writing interesting, informative articles about something you are passionate about. You must first establish yourself as an expert in your niche before you start charging anything. So before thinking about monetizing, think about content creation, and do it regularly.

Assuming that you have added a large amount of content on your blog, then begin the monetization process by adding Google AdSense. Now that you have quite a bit of content, you will be able to attract relevant ads. After monetization, keep writing as usual, because the more words you have, the more pages on your blog, and the more ads you can place on your blog.

Next, begin to do reviews on products related to your niche, and slap on an affiliate link with your recommendations. Again, test responses. See what appeals to your readers. Once you find a few winners, roll out more of those types of affiliate programs. The type of affiliate program you choose to promote should be related to your blog theme. Avoid choosing unrelated themes, trying to find some justification for them. For instance, if your blog is about Internet Marketing, you can add reviews of programs that teach people how to make money online. However, don't slap up an anti-virus recommendation, figuring that since most people reading your blogs have their own computers, they will also be interested in computer enhancing programs.

How much money you make from your blog and how soon this happens cannot really be predicted. There are so many factors to take into consideration, including the type of market you are in, how informative your posts are, and how often you write for your blog. While you need not create literary works, you should have interesting, readable, and educational posts. As you write more and more posts, you will attract more readers because your blog will be better indexed by the search engines. People will begin to start buying from you because you will have built up a level of camaraderie and trust through your blog posts.
